Dedicated Destruction
An exploration of digital fragility, transforming complex imagery into corrupted artifacts to portray data decay
00

problem
digital environments present themselves as weightless, infinite, and pristine. However, this illusion requires immense, hidden computational labor. Modern rendering engines are designed to constantly sweep up their own messes—smoothing edges, clearing caches, and masking hardware strain to keep the experience seamless.
solution
this artwork exposes the underlying vulnerability of that data. By reducing complex imagery into glitching, blocky artifacts, it portrays how easily the structures of modern lives can be corrupted, fragmented, and ultimately destroyed. It reflects a world overwhelmed by information, where signal is violently overtaken by noise.
Data brutalism creates an "honest" environment by removing optimization and exposing raw math. This visualizes real-time computational strain and data accumulation, forcing viewers to witness the architecture's collapse.

Stripping away modern graphics' "over-designed" layers exposes raw math. The aesthetic relies on extreme high-contrast, minimalist color palettes, and clinical geometry. The core philosophy dictates that a system's failure is more honest than its function. This decay must feel architectural and mathematical, representing a machine struggling to maintain its structure.
